“The ground beneath New Orleans is oversaturated with secrets. You are the only ones left who can stitch the barrier shut—or tear it wide open.”
Produced in collaboration with the Overlook Film Festival, Saintsbone turned the historic French Quarter into a city-wide stage. Guests stepped into the roles of descendants of a secret society, tasked with navigating a metaphysical crisis that threatened to unleash the spirits of New Orleans upon the world.
This two-hour production blended the cerebral challenge of a puzzle hunt with the raw agency of immersive theater. Participants traversed iconic locations like Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde, encountering legendary spirits and making moral choices that would determine the city’s supernatural fate.
- Urban Agency: A city-wide experience that replaced passive tours with active participation, giving guests true agency over the narrative.
- Theatrical Integration: Seamlessly woven interactions with a cast of local New Orleans talent, blurring the lines between the historic city and the supernatural rift.
- Narrative Stakes: The experience culminated in “The Scouring,” a high-stakes ritual where collective player decisions resulted in permanent, divergent endings.
